4. Scope and purposes of data processing

4.1. Processing of patients’ data

Categories of data processed: – identification data (name, date of birth), – contact details (telephone number, e-mail address), – health-related and lifestyle data, medical history, – treatment records, notes, results and documentation.

Purpose of processing: – provision of treatments and consultations, – ensuring safe, personalised and professionally appropriate treatments, – compliance with professional and legal obligations.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) and (c) GDPR, and Article 9(2)(a) GDPR.

4.2. Appointment booking and communication

Data processed: name, telephone number, e-mail address, appointment details.

Purpose: appointment scheduling and communication.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR.

4.3. Billing and accounting

Data processed: name, address, billing data.

Purpose: fulfilment of accounting and tax obligations.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Retention period: 8 years pursuant to Hungarian accounting legislation.

4.4. Newsletter and marketing communications

Data processed: name, e-mail address, telephone number.

Purpose: sending informational and marketing communications.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

Consent may be withdrawn at any time, without justification.
